Each Eos lampshade is handcrafted with natural RDS-certified goose feathers, creating a soft, atmospheric light and a unique expression. The feathers are carefully arranged by hand, which means small variations and minor gaps can appear when unpacking the lampshade. This is part of the lamp’s natural character and charm.
Everyday cleaning
If gaps appear, gently reshape the feathers with your fingers. Simply squeeze and bend them lightly between your thumb and index finger until they settle into place. This will restore the lampshade’s full, balanced look.
Cleaning
To keep the lampshade free from dust, use a hair dryer on the coolest setting, held about 25 cm away, to blow away loose particles. For more persistent dust, carefully wipe the feathers with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
