Student Assistant – Visual Merchandiser for UMAGE

UMAGE is looking for a creative and motivated Visual Merchandiser student assistant to join our marketing team. In this role, you will contribute to the interior styling of our showroom, assist in designing fair stands, and support the visual presentation of our brand.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in curating and maintaining interior design for our showroom, ensuring a harmonious blend of aesthetic appeal and brand identity.
  • Contribute ideas and support the design process for fair stands in collaboration with the team, aiming to resonate with our audience during events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support visual merchandising efforts aligned with broader brand and marketing objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and contribute to innovative visual concepts for our physical spaces.
  • Assist in coordinating the execution of merchandising plans, ensuring consistency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Interest in visual merchandising, preferably with exposure to the design or retail industry.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to contribute to compelling visual displays that align with brand aesthetics.
  • Basic proficiency in space planning and an attention to detail for creating visually appealing environments.
  • Experience working in pCon planner or similar planning tools is a plus.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for staying informed about industry trends and a curiosity for design and merchandising developments.
  • Strong coordination skills, ensuring seamless execution of merchandising plans across various platforms.
